INDATLEX -- "Date Input Lexfile".  Adds INDATE$ to BASIC.  Designed
for French-speaking users only.

INDATE$ first displays

        DATE : "JJ/MM/AA"

with the cursor on JJ.  The user types a two-digit day, month, and
year over the letters.  The input is reversed into year/month/day
order, and returned as a string with slashes inserted properly.  If
nothing is typed, "AA/MM/JJ" is returned.
